Logitech Digital Camera

I really needed a camera that I could use on the fly and searched the internet and come across the Logitech digital camera.  The one I decided to get was the ClickSmart 510 which was in the Logitech digital camera range of camera.  The camera itself can shoot photos and videos and allows you to quickly get your Logitech digital camera out and take a picture so you don’t miss it in heat of the action which is what I was looking for.

My Logitech digital camera are also great for shooting video whilst on the move.  I was on a train and there was a really nice scenic view that I wanted so I just pressed record on my Logitech digital camera and then from the video I recorded I could then get a still and use this for my picture and it worked out great.  I think overall the Logitech digital camera hold only about ninety seconds of video coupled with around five hundred or so pictures depending on what resolution you want to take them at.

I also found it easy to transfer photos and email them to my friends as well as produce my short videos to places like Youtube which was great fun.  I decided after this to purchase a Logitech digital camera for one of my relatives so he to could take some photos and email them back to me and he is not shall we say the sharpest tool in the box but he had no problems whatsoever in setting his Logitech digital camera up and was taking photos within ten minutes of getting it.

I find it so easy to literally point and shoot and the image that is produced is crisp and clear even for moving action shots which I do take quite a lot of.  If I really want as I said before though I can take a video of the action and then use a still from the video for my photograph and that works really well with my Logitech digital camera.

So onto the software, is it any good?  Well I like it; it’s again easy to use for the non technical people and has functions such as removing red eye and video motion editing which helps you select a photo still from moving video.  The optics and brightness can be edited from the software as well which is a great feature.  I really like my Logitech digital camera as they are relatively cheap, good value for money and are very sturdy.  I have dropped my Logitech digital camera now at least 3 times, once onto concrete and its still working as good as ever.

The only disappointing thing is the camera has a plastic feel to it and it almost feels like a children’s toy but if this has helped keep the cost down then I think its fine.  I don’t think the Logitech digital camera are any good for the seasoned photography professional but for someone like me who takes occasional photographs at functions and parties its great and its ease of use make it stand out for me.
